[My Pics: Studio1| Studio2| Studio3] About Me My name is Danny Tolnay. I am 15 years old, producing high quality melodic trance and other bits of noise in Satellite Beach, FL [USA]. Creating music has been a hobby of mine since about the age of 13 when i received my first cheesy music making tool. MTV Music Generator [codemasters tm] helped me however, to understand the basic principles of music composition, and arranging. I made nearly 20 tunes in MTV Music Gen by the time i got to try out Fruity Loops. I messed around with it for a bit, got quite good at it, and made a complete song or two [also lame]. About June of 2002, i finally was able to purchase my brand new Alesis QS6.1 Synthesizer. I received Cakewalk Sonar from a friend, and began to compose arrangements using MIDI. This concept was very new to me and i am still obviously trying to 'master' it. I believe i have made great progress on my OWN however in about 6 months. I have taught myself everything so far, with the exception of Alex Smith of The Cynic Project who has walked me through some troubleshooting. Thanks Alex! It all started when i heard his song: Trance Generation [my cousin had accidently put it onto a cd i asked her to burn me]. After hearing that song, i knew that i had to be part of the music making industry in any way i could. That was the very first song to really move me, and The Cynic Project's music has made an amazing impact on my life, and if it wasn't for Alex Smith, i would not be making music today. Thanks so much Alex for bringing me into this great world of music! Currently, some of my favorite artists include [but are definetly not limited to, as i am always finding new, moving material]: The Cynic Project, Ferry Corsten, 303 Infinity, Mangoo, George Acosta, Guardians of the Earth, Lagoona, Robert Miles, and Minister. Other Hobbies: music, surfing, skating, boxing, and just hanging out with my friends/family. Status: Single :) or :(? [i've got my eye on a few females tho ;)] Hates: Stupid people, confusing females, composers block, liars, and pretty much anything that bugs me? haha Favorite Song: This changes daily practically, but it usually just follows a little pattern. As of right now though, my favorite song would have to be Catch, by Minister.
